Privacy policy

DKPlanner is a free household budget planner. This page explains what we store and why. We keep it short on purpose.
What we store
- Account details: your name, your email address and, if you sign up with email, a hashed password. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Household data: the entries, categories, budgets and balances you and your household members enter.
- Session cookie: a cookie that keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary and is deleted when you close your browser.
- Language cookie: a small cookie that remembers the language you chose. It contains no personal data.
How we use it
We use your data only to run the app for you and your household. We do not sell it, share it for advertising or use it to profile you. Members of the same household can see that household's data.
Analytics
We may measure visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
Who else handles data
The app runs on a web hosting provider that stores the database. If you use Google sign-in, Google processes that sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account and its data at any time. Write to ndasenakis@gmail.com and we will act on it. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
